The Role Reporting to the Store Manager, this position works closely with the store team in contributing to the store profitability by receiving, handling and managing the inventory of merchandise in a timely and organised manner. It is responsible for leading and developing the stockroom team, whilst empowering them to exceed.
Key Responsibilities Contribute to the store profitability by receiving, handling and coordinating the inventory of merchandise in a timely and organised mannerLead and develop the stockroom team to ensure effective stock control at all timesEnsure shrink strategies are reviewed and implemented on an ongoing basisDrive the focus of Work Health and Safety (WHS) within the stockroom and storeManagement of the stores stocktake processReview and implement strategies within the store to improve efficiencyAdhere to all company behaviours, policies and procedures.
The Ideal Candidate has Previous experience working in a fast-paced physical environmentProven ability to cope well under pressureA passion for the retail industry, exceptional service and a strong sense of personal style and presentationHighly developed attention to detailProven ability to manage the performance and development of a teamSound knowledge of the health and safety regulationsAbility to build strong relationships with all stakeholdersFlexibility to work weekends and late trading hours according to business needs / peak trade periods.
