About the role Due to expansion, we are looking for a full-time Farm Hand to join our farming operation. As a Farm Hand, you will play a crucial part in the day-to-day operations of our agricultural business, contributing to its overall success and growth.
What you'll be doing Spray rig and tractor operation Delivery of grain using road trains Transporting and spreading organic fertiliser Participating in fertilising, planting, and harvesting of winter and summer crops General farm activities including, but not limited to machine and equipment maintenance and shed work Assisting with general farm maintenance and upkeep Operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental regulations to ensure a safe working environment Collaborating with the farm team to achieve daily and long-term operational goals What we're looking for Operational knowledge of spray rigs (both trail behind and self propelled), WEEDit spraying system, tractors and headers Previous experience in a farm or agricultural setting, ideally in a similar Farm Hand role Strong practical skills and the ability to operate a variety of farm machinery and equipment Familiarity with general farm maintenance A keen interest in the agricultural industry and a commitment to sustainable farming practices Excellent teamwork and communication skills, being able to work effectively both as a team and independently.
