Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Custom Window Furnishing Design Consultant to join our vibrant team in Melbourne. This role is ideal for a professional with a background in Window Furnishings particularly high-end residential projects. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of window furnishings, including the ability to provide design advice, fit for purpose solutions and appropriate textile selections.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored design consultations for custom window furnishings to high-end residential projects both on site and in our showroom. Measure windows and recommend the best window furnishing solutions to meet client needs. Offer expert advice on the latest trends, materials and finish options in window furnishings. Presenting to small groups of designers onsite and in the showroom on latest WF trends and finishes. Respond to client inquiries with accuracy and diligence. Manage client relationships, ensuring a high level of Client satisfaction. Post installation service and check ins. Split time between on-site consultations and in-office work, requiring travel within the Melbourne area. What we're looking for:
Proven experience in the custom window furnishing industry. Ability to present to small groups of designers on the latest WF trends and fabrics. Knowledge of motorisation in window treatments is highly regarded. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle (required for on-site consultations). Full-time availability is preferred, but part-time arrangements can be discussed for the right person.
