ABOUT THE ROLE:
Location: Roles located in Launceston- Tasmania Roles available: Security Officer Full Time and Casual Opportunities available Plenty of sites available Full availability preferred Roles require a working with vulnerability license 10-12 hour shifts available Level 1-2 Wilson Security is expanding in TASMANIA, securing additional contracts that strengthen our presence in the Whole of TASMANIA. This growth has created new roles within our TAS team, focused on enhancing response and support capabilities for our existing teams and clients. These positions are crucial to our success in the region and will be supported by our Operations Team and Duty Managers. They offer training across multiple locations and a variety of positions.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Availability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights/weekends (24/7 availability) Excellent customer service skills General security duties- patrols, external and internal locks ups and MORE! Be a lateral thinker in solving issues that may arise Have an understanding of communication lines and chain of command Have an understanding of emergency and alarm response protocols including fire systems Protect and maintain security & integrity of building and infrastructure Submit electronic or paper incident and hazard reports Be well presented and well-spoken Have good IT skills WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
