Your Role in Action
Oversee Major Capital Projects: Collaborate with Project Engineers to manage capital execution plans for projects over $1 million, ensuring everything runs smoothly and meets expectations. Plan Resources and Materials for Success: Work closely with planners and schedulers to coordinate the resources and materials needed for project completion, focusing on timely and efficient delivery. Maintain Efficient Project Schedules: Develop and manage capital activities in SAP, and work with schedulers to create an effective timeline that maximizes resource use. Handle Project Challenges: Identify project shortfalls and implement action plans to keep projects on track, adapting to any unexpected challenges during execution. Ensure Seamless Project Handovers: Liaise with Site Operations to manage the handover and commissioning requirements for capital projects, ensuring a smooth transition. Drive Cost Control: Supervise engineering activities, ensuring all work is completed on time and within budget. Foster a Culture of Innovation: Encourage team members to explore innovative solutions to challenges and embrace change, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Your Winning Combination
We're seeking a candidate who prioritizes safety, leads with confidence, and builds strong stakeholder relationships. If you're detail-oriented, structured, and have a knack for precision, we want to hear from you! You'll need solid SAP proficiency, backed by a strong engineering background—either through formal qualifications or practical experience—and at least 3 years in a Maintenance or Reliability role within a heavy industry setting. Experience in the sugar industry, familiarity with MS Project, or holding a Trade qualification would be a plus, though not essential.
