Description In this entry-level role, you will contribute to the management and growth of the Construction Practice, ensuring that client risk management and insurance needs are identified and met while supporting brokers on large clients. Key areas of accountability will include the administration of Surety and Builders Warranty client records, client servicing, preparation of client documentation, general administration, invoicing, client database management, and liaison with underwriters.
The Role Assist senior brokers when required and effectively manage and grow a portfolio of clients, ensuring that their risk management and insurance broking needs are identified and met. Accurately prepare client documentation, such as invoice documents. Assist in managing clients' Surety and Builders Warranty programs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services. Provide support to senior brokers in managing larger clients' insurance, risk management, and programs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services. Develop and maintain relationships with insurers, clients, and other key stakeholders (internal and external), professionally representing WTW. Maintain comprehensive client data on WTW and iCare systems, facilities, and databases. Respond to client claims inquiries. Manage workflow and diary systems and maintain comprehensive client data on WTW systems. Contribute to individual and team annual new business targets, ensuring they are met. Ensure pipeline accuracy and quality are maintained regularly. Manage debtor collections in accordance with the terms of trade. Assist with collection reports through effective debtor management. Assist/maintain detailed audit and review programs/reports and respond to Icare audits. Keep abreast of continuing regulatory changes and development in the Builders Warranty and Surety. Liase with Mumbai processing operations and assist with supporting brokers with administrative support. Work with the General Construction practice to deliver seamless service for clients. Assist in developing and enhancing existing policies and procedures. Undertake professional development as required. Qualifications The Requirements An innovative thinker with the ability to collaborate and work in a team. Sound oral and written communication skills, both on an individual and small group basis. Excellent report writing and correspondence skills. Ability to prioritise work, manage deadlines, and work under pressure. A team player with the ability to demonstrate credibility and gain trust. Proficient in all MS Office products. A quick learner with the drive to take on additional duties when required. You have, or are prepared to undertake, the Financial Services Reform Act (minimum Tier 1 Broking Compliance). The ability to work autonomously with minimal guidance. A focus on excellence and the ability to produce accurate work. A background in general insurance and construction insurance is preferred.
