Work Type: Full TimeApplications Close: OngoingAbout the role:We seek a WHSEQ Advisor with a strong construction / deconstruction background to join our Environmental Services Customer Stream. This role would suit someone with a passion for site safety and compliance, using their construction / deconstruction background and safety qualifications to champion safety for the group.
Reporting directly to the Project Manager and WHSEQ Manager, this role drives the corporate safety program throughout all our projects for the customer stream.
About you:We are seeking an individual with Cert IV accreditation or willing to achieve in Work Health and Safety or related safety qualifications; construction background or extensive knowledge of demolition / asbestos / scaffolding practices; proven experience in a safety advisor / supervisor role; sound working knowledge of safety procedures, incident investigation, legislation, and project management plans.
The role will also require a driver's licence; current white card; management and leadership abilities; strong written and verbal communication skills.
Successful candidates must be able to pass a drug and alcohol and fit for work assessment and current COVID vaccination is required for access to many of our clients' sites due their requirements.
