Our design principles and commitment to investment in research and development ensure innovative thinking, technological skill and quality fabrication are at the heart of our business.CEA's benefits include:Free car parkingStudy assistance and trainingGroup life and salary continuance insuranceDefence health premium discountsEmployee assistance & well-being programsSalary packagingThe PositionThe WHSE Administration Officer will provide administrative support and assistance to the WHSE team across a broad range of WHSE matters, to support positive safety culture and associated outcomes for the organisation.This role is responsible for:Support the WHSE team to ensure all workers, contractors and visitors are operating within a safe, WHSE compliant environment.Ensure all WHSE documentation is completed and filed in accordance with the WHSE policies and procedures.Assist with the coordination and scheduling of WHSE activities, including training and medicals.Assist with the tracking and completion of WHSE related tasks and objectives.Assist the WHSE team with the delivery of relevant training programs.Assist the WHSE team with workers compensation matters in accordance with relevant legislation.Data entry and record keeping within WHSE information management and document control systems.Attendance and minute-taking at Health & Safety Committee and other WHSE-related meetings.Shared inbox and calendar management including categorisation and allocation of emails.Demonstrated experience in an Administrative Assistant/Support role.Demonstrated experience in the full range of Microsoft Office applications.Strong verbal and written communication skills to foster collaborative working relationships with a variety of stakeholders and support the delivery of business goals.Demonstrated excellent organisational and time management skills.Understanding or familiarity of WHSE legislation and requirements (ACT and interstate).Understanding of workers compensation legislation and requirements.Experience in, or the desire to develop in a WHSE-related role is preferred.To be eligible for this position, you must be:Eligible to obtain and maintain an AGSVA clearance - BaselineHow to applyClick on the 'Apply Now' button below.
