We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated WHS Advisor to join our team.
This role is critical in ensuring the maintenance and enhancement of our workplace safety culture, policies and procedures.
This role is based in Chipping Norton and travel to our various recycling sites will be required.
Desired Skills and ExperienceKey Responsibilities and Duties Include: Assist in reviewing, implementing, and maintaining all WHS policies and procedures.Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation, codes of practice, and industry standards.Conduct regular inspections/audits to ensure ongoing compliance.Act as a point of contact for all WHS-related matters.Ensure effective consultation and communication regarding safety issues.Assist in the development of training documentation, assessments and skills gap analysis.Willingness to travel to sites when required.Qualifications: Qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.Previous experience in a WHS role is essential.Understanding of WHS legislation, regulations, and best practices.Good understanding of earthmoving equipment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Valid Australian Drivers License.Ability to conduct thorough investigations and risk assessments.We will provide you with great perks, including: Access to Employee Benefits Scheme.Job security in a family-run organisation.Car allowance will be provided.Note: We promote a safe work culture; therefore, we have a process of reference checking and pre-employment medicals, including a drug and alcohol screen for the successful applicant.
