This is a multi-national industrial equipment supplier to the hospitality, hotel, hospital, and cruise liner industry. Without their sophisticated systems and equipment, these businesses would come to a standstill.
Your new role
The role of WHS Officer is an integral part of the success of the business and would work closely with the Operations Manager and Project Managers delivering new installations on-site and helping with the commissioning process. The role would cover:
Site induction processes and systems are maintainedEnsure regular safety meetings are undertaken across the various sitesCoordinate and participate in internal auditsAssist in the continuous improvement of the organisations WHS policy, procedures and processesLead serious incident investigations and provide investigative support to ManagementAssist in the development of emergency response plans and WHS proceduresEnsure organisational compliance with the WHS Act, Environmental Act, Accident Compensation Act and supporting regulationsAnalyse, develop, and implement Project Work Health and Safety plansUndertake site inspections and risks assessments as requiredReviewing Safe Work Method Statements and Site WHS Start-up documentationAssisting the Project Delivery Team with the implementation of WHS SystemsAssist as a backup for sales and projects administration workWhat we need from youTo be successful you will have the following:
