The role provides assistance in delivering a wider range of workplace health & safety, workers compensation, rehabilitation and employee wellbeing programs and initiatives. The purpose of this position is to assist with efficient workplace health and safety management across Nulsen Disability Services.
Some of your duties will include: Prepare reports, records, statistics and other documentation to ensure the provision and maintenance of necessary information and record systems for Nulsen Disability Services.Assist ongoing review and enhancement of Workplace Health and Safety policies, procedures and guidelines.Conduct periodic workplace inspections and risk assessments as directed.Coordinate treatment and attend appointments to assist in return to work.Develop and maintain return to work programs and all associated workers compensation paperwork.Update management and internal departments on the progress of claims.At times assist with related tasks for the PeopleKind Group.Minimum Requirements: An appropriate qualification in workplace health and safety management.Strong interpersonal and communication skills in order to develop and maintain effective relationships, work with others in a constructive and collaborative manner, and to be able to influence and negotiate.Strong analysis, project management and report writing skills.Sound organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects to meet deadlines.You have valid full working rights in Australia.Current Australian Drivers Licence.NDIS Screening Check (or be willing to obtain).Experience in a Work Health & Safety related role within a service delivery environment.Experience in delivering training to staff in environment, health and safety risk identification, reduction and management.What Do We Offer?
