As the WHS Coordinator (Workplace Health Safety) at Liberated Brands, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees. This is a full-time on-site position based in Geelong, VIC and will involve overseeing and coordinating all aspects of workplace health and safety within our organisation.What you'll be doingDeveloping, implementing and monitoring workplace health and safety policies and proceduresConducting risk assessments and implementing control measures to mitigate risksDelivering training and providing guidance to employees on workplace health and safety practicesInvestigating and reporting on workplace incidents and accidentsMaintaining accurate records and documentation related to workplace health and safetyLiaising with relevant authorities and stakeholders to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulationsContinuously improving workplace health and safety practices to create a safer work environmentWhat we're looking forRelevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or a related fieldMinimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar WHS Coordinator or WHS Officer roleThorough understanding of workplace health and safety legislation, regulations and best practicesStrong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with employees at all levelsExcellent problem-solving and analytical abilities to identify and address safety-related issuesAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environmentProficiency in using relevant WHS software and record-keeping systemsWhat we offerAt Liberated Brands, we are committed to providing a supportive and fulfilling work environment for our employees.
