YOUR NEW ROLE As a WHS Consultant at Altius Group, you'll have the unique opportunity to work across 2 offices - Sydney & Tuggerah (travel required), you will: Work with a diverse portfolio of clients across a wide range of industries to develop and implement innovative solutions that promote safety and wellbeing in the workplace.
Conduct onsite visits to assess risk and provide tailored recommendations that drive positive change and improve outcomes for clients.
Review and analyze WHS management systems, using your expertise to identify areas for improvement and develop customized solutions that meet client needs.
Conduct stakeholder interviews, investigations, and assessments, including audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations, to gain a deep understanding of client needs and facilitate effective solutions.
Collaborate with other Altius Group professionals on key client projects, leveraging your skills and knowledge to develop targeted programs and interventions that reduce injury and risk.
Write clear and concise reports that enable effective reporting and monitoring of progress, keeping clients informed every step of the way.
Deliver engaging and informative training sessions to workers, managers, and executives, sharing your knowledge and passion for WHS to drive positive change in the workplace.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO JOIN US: Certificate 4 or Diploma in WHS Solid understanding of WHS legislation and risk management (including psychosocial risk) 1-2 years' experience in a dedicated WHS role Ability to adapt and learn new technology and online systems.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, while managing multiple projects concurrently.
A desire to have fun in the workplace Possession of a current driver's license and own vehicle.
Desirable: Tertiary qualifications in WHS or allied health background Previous internal or external consulting experience Lead Auditor qualifications and experience on Health and Safety Management System ISO45001:2018 WHY YOU WILL LOVE WORKING WITH US?
