About the Role
You will join a team that provides specialist wellbeing, health and safety advisory and support services to their people. Working closely with leaders and stakeholders, you'll provide practical advice, coaching and support to keep people safe and healthy. As part of the team, you'll deliver WHS projects and work on initiatives that promote a safe workplace through hands-on coaching and effective strategies.
What You'll Do
Reporting directly to the Safety Lead, you will join a team committed to solving problems and making a positive impact on people and business through advice, knowledge sharing, coaching and the integration of practical risk management programs. In the team you will also:
Contribute to the execution of the WHS strategy, delivering risk-based projects and initiatives that promote learning and continual improvement. Offer safety guidance, coaching, and technical support to all business units, and internal stakeholders, driving continuous enhancement in safety culture and supporting the prevention and management of workplace injuries and health issues. Provide leaders with practical and impactful safety initiatives that foster safe, healthy work environments and encourage safe workplace behaviours. Deliver specialised advice and support to help minimise risk, through activities like risk monitoring and coordinating consultation and engagement efforts. Collaborate across diverse projects, systems, and stakeholders within a dynamic and complex environment. About You You're a problem-solver with a drive to implement prevention and early intervention strategies, utilising innovation to create positive, sustainable health, safety, and wellbeing outcomes. You're skilled at handling complex issues, even in ambiguous situations, and can effectively engage and manage relationships with stakeholders. Highly self-motivated, you thrive in both routine and project-based work, with excellent time management and prioritisation abilities. You bring experience with statutory and regulatory WHS frameworks across Australia, with a keen interest in safety innovation and fresh approaches to safety management. Holding a tertiary qualification in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent), you're knowledgeable about contemporary health and safety issues. Culture & Benefits?
