About the Role The WHS and Injury Management Consultant provides specialist advice and consultancy services on health, safety, risk, and injury management issues to staff at all levels.
This role delivers high-level expertise on compensable and non-compensable injuries, return to work programs, and proactive risk management.
A key responsibility is fostering a positive, no-blame safety culture that encourages open communication, continuous improvement, and learning from incidents.
The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in WHS, with practical experience applying the Work Health and Safety Act 2020, Workers Compensation and Injury Management Act 2023, and related regulations within a large organisation.
They will be confident in conducting in-depth workplace incident investigations, identifying root causes, and implementing targeted prevention strategies.
The ideal candidate should be self-motivated and collaborative, capable of working independently and as part of a team to achieve positive injury management outcomes.
