Join one of the leader in the poultry industry known for its high standards in safety, environmental compliance, and food quality.
We are looking for a motivated WHS and EMS Coordinator to ensure compliance, drive safety initiatives, and contribute to the success of our operations.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain and monitor the Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Management System and Environmental Management System (EMS).
Liaise with site management, staff, and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with statutory and company requirements.
Conduct internal and external audits, ensuring timely completion of findings.
Provide guidance to the Health and Safety Representative (HSR) committee and lead risk control actions.
Monitor contractor health and safety compliance across sites.
Coordinate reporting mechanisms to regulatory authorities and maintain accurate documentation.
Ensure compliance with environmental standards, including local and national statutory requirements.
Support food safety, quality culture, and chain of responsibility (CoR) compliance.
Critical Skills and Experience: Proven experience in WHS and EMS roles, with knowledge of AS4801 or ISO 45001 standards.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick, informed decisions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant systems.
Knowledge of feed milling, poultry processing, or similar industries is an advantage.
Experience in contractor management and workplace incident investigations.
Personal Attributes: Exceptional attention to detail and proactive attitude.
Proficiency in Excel and Word, with a willingness to learn new tasks -Capability to oversee WHS and EMS checks effectively  Understanding of Chain of Responsibility requirements Strong leadership and people skills, including conflict resolution.
Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
WHS Cert 4 qualification What We Offer: A supportive team environment Salary on officer $80k to 90K plus super Permanent Full time role Mon- Friday, Flexible to work on the weekend.
