In these roles, you'll:
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and execute optimum shutdown plans and schedules, ensuring safety is a top priority.
Oversee the coordination and safe execution of shutdown activities for designated areas, managing BHP and contractor teams across the Bowen basin.
Assess and manage risks using BHP's risk management framework to support safe and productive outcomes.
Lead continuous process improvements to enhance safety, efficiency, and compliance.
Provide guidance to teams during planning and execution phases, ensuring resource alignment and minimizing unscheduled work.
Contribute to budget planning and deliver results aligned with operational goals.
About You
We welcome professionals with diverse experiences and skillsets.
You might have:
Expertise in maintenance, engineering, logistics, administration or project management.
A strong understanding of safety-focused maintenance practices.
Experience in using tools like SAP or project management systems.
Trade qualifications or formal supervisory training (S1, S2, S3, G2 highly regarded).
Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.
Transferable skills, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to safety and efficiency will set you apart.
