Hays is pleased to partner with a prominent state government body, who plays a vital role in supporting the wider Queensland community in development and maintenance. They are seeking an efficient and dynamic AO3 Maintenance Support Officer to join and contribute to a great team on a full-time temporary contract, based in Mackay, starting ASAP until 03/01/2025.
Your new role
As the Maintenance Support Officer in a busy contact-support centre environment, we are seeking a confident individual who displays the ability to operate and thrive in a multitasking environment, to achieve team objectives. You will be responsible for:
Answering or making customer calls to address their maintenance needs.Raising and dispatching work orders.Data Entry.Understanding and striving to meet or exceed call centre metrics.Providing consistent customer service.Collating documents, reports, and records via information systems.What you'll need to succeed
You will demonstrate a friendly and engaging communication style and actively work to support customers and stakeholders. Experience in a similar role is a must.
Call Centre Skills/Knowledge.Problem-solving and de-escalation skills/conflict resolution.Ability to multitask.Exceptional customer service, active listening and verbal and written communication skills.Strong time management and decision-making skills.Being able to collaborate and work in a team.Microsoft Office Skills/Knowledge: Excel, Word, Teams.What you'll get in return
If you are successful in this role, you will gain a fantastic opportunity until early January 2025 with the possibility of extension, with a prominent and active Queensland State government body. You will undertake a full-time temporary position, Monday – Friday for an ASAP start, receiving an attractive AO3 pay rate $49.40 + Super.
