About the Role
JAX Tyres & Auto Ballarat are looking for an experienced Wheel Alignment Technician to join their growing team. In this role, you will identify and rectify faults found in customer's wheel alignments and suspension as well as identifying and rectifying faults found in customer tyres such as wear and tear, punctures, fitting, rotating, balancing and general tyre repairs.
You will be working in a well-equipped and organised workshop, closely alongside your fellow team to deliver an industry leading level of customer service.
Your main day-to-day tasks would include:
Perform Wheel Alignments and other wheel/suspension related services on customers vehicles.
Identifying faults in vehicle stability and tyre wear.
Identify and rectify faults found in customer tyres.
Providing advice and reporting potentially dangerous risks found on customer vehicles.
Safely operating hoists.
Conducting road tests as required.
About you
2 or more years' experience as a Wheel Alignment Technician.
Willing to assist with tyre fitting.
Available to work Saturdays.
Australian driver's licence (Required).
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
MUST be physically fit.
WHS knowledge.
MUST be experienced in the automotive tyre industry.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour.
Expected hours: No less than 38 per week.
Supplementary Pay:
Overtime pay.
