JOB DESCRIPTIONJoin our team as an Experienced Wheat Straw Waste Pulp Mill / Moulded Fibre Technician, where you will play a crucial role in the installation, fine-tuning and maintenance of Ecosure Pulpmolding Technology pulp mills and moulded fibre thermo forming machines.We are seeking skilled professionals with a solid background in wheat straw waste pulping production machinery and processes, moulded fibre thermoforming machines; and a proven track record in successfully installing, commissioning and fine tuning Ecosure pulp mills and Ecosure moulded fibre thermoformers.RESPONSIBILITIESThis role is responsible for assisting the Nupal technical team with the successful installation, commissioning, operation and optimisation of Ecosure Pulpmolding Technologies wheat straw pulp mills and Ecosure wheat straw moulded fibre thermoforming machines. This is to ensure the pulp mill and thermo forming machines operate as per manufacturer specifications, with minimal downtime, minimal product quality issues and to world's best production performance practices.MAIN TASKSInstall and commission Ecosure Pulpmolding Technologies pulp mill and moulded fibre thermoforming machines as per Ecosure specifications.Troubleshoot technical issues and collaborate with Nupal management, engineers and technical teams to swiftly resolve engineering and configuration problems and bottlenecks.Train onsite personnel in the safe operation and maintenance of the Ecosure pulp mill and moulded fibre thermoforming machines.Document installation activities, operating procedures, maintenance procedures and provide detailed reports as required.Fine tune the pulp mill and thermoforming machines to their optimal performance, balancing production performance and product quality trade-offs.Provide re-engineered and/or alternative supplier solutions outside the Ecosure Pulpmolding product suite that will lead to improved production and maintenance performance outcomes.Document planned maintenance programs covering replacing parts, labour and replacement timing.Train and educate the local labour market to take over such activities at the end of the employment term.RELEVANT QUALIFICATIONSA technical qualification or certification in mechanical engineering, specifically wheat straw pulp mill design and wheat straw moulded fibre production design and process optimisation is preferred, but not mandatory.RELEVANT SKILLSStrong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills in relation to wheat straw pulp production and wheat straw moulded fibre production processes and technologies, specifically Ecosure Pulpmolding pulp mills and Ecosure ECOFA 9750 thermo forming machines.Ability to diagnose problems and recommend solutions relating to the type of wheat straw and barrier coatings being used in production.Ability to work with and understand industrial automation systems and PLC programming.Ability to diagnose product quality issues and the root cause of those issues. (i.e. machinery, process, materials etc).Proficiency in developing, interpreting and providing technical drawings, diagrams, P&ID's and equipment manuals.
