Are you an experienced Heavy Equipment Dealer Leader with experience in Sales Management and machine Life Cycle looking for your next opportunity?
WesTrac has an exciting opportunity available for a Used Equipment and Rental Business Manager to lead our Used and Rental sales team based at our Perth Airport Branch. As the Used Equipment and Rental Business Manager , you'll be reporting to the General Manager CI, and will oversee the Used & Rental Budget, the development and execution of the UE and Rental market growth strategy.

Key responsibilities include: Providing leadership and direction to Account Managers, purchasing, and inventory functions to achieve sales targets, financial metrics, stock turns, and NLS targets. Liaising with Account Managers and Sales Managers across all business units, offering expertise on used equipment sales and trade-ins, and assisting with sales negotiations and tenders. Developing strategies for offshore purchasing and sales based on market cycles. Collaborating with various departments and vendors, including service operations, finance and treasury, suppliers, brokers, and shipping agents, to deliver on sales plans. Managing risk, maximizing margin realization, and effectively utilizing working capital. Delivering the Cat UE and Rental excellence program, managing the Coates account for WA, and executing the Heavy Rents strategy within the business unit. What We Are Looking For: Established experience in used equipment sales and strong dealership knowledge. Tertiary qualification in either a commercial, engineering or marketing discipline; OR significant demonstrated commercial and business experience with proven financial acumen. Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads and conflicting priorities to achieve tight deadlines. Advanced leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire, influence and motivate. Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively liaise at a high level with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. High level of initiative and problem-solving skills with the ability to negotiate complex commercial agreements and influence positive outcomes. Ability to set and clearly communicate business targets and expectations aligned with WesTrac values. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time (international and domestic).
