Do you want to help power the core operations of a thriving workshop? Due to internal promotions, we are seeking Trade Assistants for our Machine Rebuilds Workshop at Tomago. Working alongside a team of 8, you'll collaborate with Plant Mechanics, Boilermakers, and Auto Electricians who perform full rebuilds and services of surface level mining equipment for customers across NSW & the ACT.
You will use internal systems to locate, collect and distribute parts within the workshop, prep work bays for machine rebuilds, manage scrap bins and operate forklifts. Following a rotating roster, you will be available to work 5 days on 4 off, followed by 5 nights on 4 off to help manage smooth workflows for our Tradesmen for efficient output.
This is an entry level position which offers exposure to first class knowledge of plant material and trade skills and has the possibility for growth. Female applicants are encouraged to apply.
