Reporting to the Project Support Supervisor, the Product Support Advisor will maximise operation time and product reliability by providing maintenance support and technical support issues across a diverse range of large mining equipment.
The Product Support Advisor will service the Paraburdoo area which is an iron ore mine located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, 80km's south of Tom Price.
This is a hands-on role (but less tool time) which requires you to carry out diagnosis, repairs and maintenance on customer Caterpillar equipment.
As an Advisor, you will also be required to undertake regular equipment inspections leading by safe working practices and lifesaving rules.
Previous Field Service Technicians are encouraged to apply with good product knowledge.

Location: Rio Tinto Mine, Paraburdoo / Tom Price Region
Roster: FIFO from Perth - 8 days on, 6 days off, 12.5 hours per day including a 30-minute meal break
To be successful the following is required:
Australian-recognised Heavy-Diesel Trade Certificate or equivalent.
Prior Field Service or regional mine site experience on CAT fleet.
The ability to advise, train, offer good customer service and jump on the tools when needed.
Previous working product knowledge with Caterpillar products and systems.
Sound maintenance and repairs experience with Large Trucks, Loaders, Dozers and Graders.
Be well aligned and exhibit WesTrac's SPARC values of Safety, Pride, Accountability, Respect and Customer.
Current Forklift Licence, EWP, Dogging & Basic Rigging, Working at Heights.
