The Office of the Vice-Chancellor and President offers a dynamic and professional environment, providing essential support services to the University's Vice-Chancellor and President within the Chancellery. Encompassing executive meeting spaces, the Office of the Chancellor, and the University Senior Executive team, this office plays a pivotal role in advancing the strategic goals of Western Sydney University.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Officer to join our team and contribute to impactful projects that align with the University's strategic and business objectives.
The Role As a Project Officer, you will lead the coordination, implementation, and monitoring of projects that drive quality outcomes and enhance the University's strategic initiatives. Reporting to the Senior Lead, your responsibilities will include:
Project Coordination : Designing and implementing project management methodologies, coordinating stakeholder engagement, and ensuring timely delivery of project outcomes. Project Monitoring : Overseeing project activities such as risk management, budgeting, stakeholder liaison, and reporting, while adhering to University policies and compliance requirements. Data Analysis : Conducting comprehensive research, providing actionable insights through data analysis and visualisation, and preparing high-quality reports and briefings. About You To excel in this role, you will bring a degree in Business, Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Strong written communication skills, the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships, and a commitment to confidentiality are essential. Your problem-solving capabilities will enable you to navigate complex challenges, while your strategic thinking will ensure project objectives align with organisational priorities.
