West Tamar Council has a great opportunity to join our in-house Technology Services team on a permanent full-time basis.

With an employee base of 140 people (120FTE) you will be joining a diverse and inclusive team.
About the Job Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, the successful candidate will be the initial point of contact to provide first level support to users and assist the Technology Services team implement information technology and communication systems and services.
You will be rewarded with a salary starting at $71,237 + employer super up to 15% + a nine-day fortnight + no debit – no credit personal leave + ability to negotiate flexible work arrangements in line with Council's Enterprise Agreement.
About you We are looking for someone who has:
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Knowledge of networking technologies involving client/server-based application/operating systems, software and hardware Excellent incident analysis and prioritisation skills Previous experience within a similar helpdesk or service support environment An ability to diagnose software problems and hardware faults A willingness to learn new software and platforms A strong team player mindset and is comfortable working independently A (minimum) certificate IV in Information Technology Want to take the next step in your Technology career?
