It mirrors the comforts of home living while offering round-the-clock support to our residents, full-time nursing care, allied health services, and specialist dementia support.
What you'll be doing in this role Our Wellness Officers do more than assist with hospitality activities; they work closely with clients and their families to foster social connections and strengthen community bonds, creating enriching and supportive environments.
Your care work may include: Providing quality, timely, and effective wellness services Communicating well with clients with varied needs and backgrounds Promoting the rights and privacy of our clients, in accordance with relevant policy and legislation Supporting residents in community-based recreational and social activities. Who we're looking for Ideally, you'll have a Certificate II in Aged Care or Individual Support or be working towards it A good insight into the health, social, or aged care services industries, with previous experience in aged or community care Ability to assist clients with medication and recognize Health Body Systems You'll be adaptable, empathetic, and resourceful, and be able to live Uniting's everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
