When workplace illness or injury occurs, we aim to support the best outcomes for staff by supporting them early.With this as your focus, the Wellbeing Officer will:Review Safety Portal (reporting system) reports to ensure that duty holders have completed the relevant sections, corrective actions, and reporting responsibilities.Review Safety Portal (reporting system) reports and consider and apply wellbeing actions as appropriate.Undertake post-incident staff wellbeing checks and support, including follow-up actions as required.Coordinate wellbeing support strategies and effectively liaise with stakeholders across the Education Directorate to optimise early intervention and mobilise supports to staff, schools, and business areas.Demonstrate adherence to relevant records management policies.Apply and support Work Health and Safety and Risk Management policies, procedures, and processes.Provide and support reporting and trend analysis to assist in wellbeing initiatives for the Directorate.We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where people with diverse thoughts, lived experience, and perspectives can thrive and contribute their unique talents to the ACTPS and ACT community.
