Representing more than 20,200 members, the LIV's purpose is to promote the highest standards of ethical and legal practice, education, and service excellence in the practice and administration of law to ensure the community benefits from strong legal representation, effective advocacy, and a fair and equitable legal and justice system.Position Overview:In this role you will be an integral part of the LIV Wellbeing Team, contributing to the implementation of a best-practice evidence-based Wellbeing Strategy in the law.
Your chance to join a for-purpose organisation that offers flexible work conditions, a collegiate environment, and meaningful work: where wellbeing is prioritised from the inside-out.In this role you will be involved in the coordination of wellbeing activities amongst the legal profession, which are grounded in varied interventions, such as wellbeing programs and wellbeing services/products – as well as a more systemic lens (that considers structural elements, common processes, environmental features, and cultural practices).Key Responsibilities Include:Act as a key contact for direct member correspondence & support (via email, phone, online, and in-person)Deliver wellbeing support sessions (ie advocacy for LIV wellbeing supports on offer) to LIV members and staffIn conjunction with other key stakeholders, develop/contribute to programs and education in order to identify, measure and take action in aspects of lawyer wellbeing that are most impactful, and can result in positive systemic changes (eg Communities of Practice/Interest Groups)Co-deliver and deliver wellbeing activities and interventions with the Wellbeing ManagerAct as a key contact for LIV's Employee Assistance Program (Member Counselling Service) servicesProvide support (as required) to the People & Culture team in the delivery of the LIV's internal staff wellbeing programCoordinate mental health and wellbeing activities, workshops, and campaignsTo be considered for this role, you will demonstrate:Essential:Degree qualification in psychology2+ years post-graduate experienceA range of psychological/consulting skills and methodologiesSubject matter proficiency in wellbeing (ie strong foundational knowledge of wellbeing definitions, models, theories, and frameworks)Skills and experience in individual, team and/or organisation-level interventions with workplace wellbeing issuesProject management skillsExcellent technical, analytic, report writing, communication and presentation skillsConfident using technology and the Microsoft Office suitePreferred:AHPRA registeredPositive Psychology or Organisational Psychology or Clinical Psychology specialism eg relevant specialist training, certifications or accreditationsThe LIV encourages applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander origin, LGBTIQ+ communities and from diverse cultures, language groups, and people with disabilities.If you are interested in joining a highly respected membership organisation that values respect, integrity, collaboration, accountability, curiosity and a focus on service excellence, please apply now!How to Apply:Please include a cover letter, together with your CV.Applications close on Friday 04 October 2024 at 5PM.Applications may be considered and progressed prior to the close date.#J-18808-Ljbffr
