21 hours per week - Flexible Initial contract through to August Government organisation Our client is seeking a proactive and compassionate Wellbeing and Injury Support Officer to join their team.
This role plays a key part in supporting their Work Health and Safety framework, particularly through managing injury support programs and driving health and wellness initiatives across the organisation.
About the Role As the Wellbeing and Injury Support Officer, you will work closely with the WHS Manager and broader Enterprise Risk team to ensure the effective delivery of injury management, return-to-work processes, and employee wellbeing programs.
Key responsibilities include: Providing administrative support for injury management, return-to-work, and health and wellness programs.
Coordinating treatment plans and managing communications and records for injured workers.
Promoting and organising workplace wellbeing initiatives and ergonomic assessments.
Assisting employees and managers with WHS-related queries and maintaining compliance with legislative requirements.
Supporting the broader WHS team with general administrative tasks and projects as required.
This is an initial part-time contract opportunity through to August.
About You The ideal candidate will have a passion for fostering safe and supportive workplaces, along with the following skills and qualifications: Knowledge and experience in injury management, workers compensation, and return-to-work processes.
SIRA Return to Work Coordinator certification and/or Certificate IV in WHS (or equivalent experience).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and influence others.
Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other injury management systems.
A current driver's licence.
