Well Intervention Engineer About the business Based in Chinchilla Queensland Tango Oilfield Solutions provides equipment and services to the local Australia Land Drilling and Gas Market. Tango is a small family owned company started in 2013. However the directors have international experience and global reach. Due to increased activity we are now looking to add a new full time position as a Well Intervention Engineer.
About the role A Full Time Position based in Chinchilla QLD the Well Intervention Engineer generates business to increase revenues through sales, service, and operation of Tango's products and services. As the Well Intervention Engineer, you will plan, supervise, and be accountable for the execution of the operational site activity and for compliance with policies, procedures and safety standards whilst promoting Tango as a leader in the provision of CWI components, equipment, and services. Assists on other tasks or performs moderate design work. Receive minimal supervision and review various work performed by Tango in the well intervention & fishing sector.
Duties and Responsibilities A. Promote sales and development of Tango Product Lines:
Ability to provide technical sales support for Well Intervention applications and equipment. Understand competitive application and technical offerings across Tango product lines. Recommendations for technologies to implement or review. Answering client incoming calls, quotes, & reviews. Develop and perform various customer presentations of new equipment, services, and/or schools B. Plan and Execute Well Intervention Programs
Provide pre-job planning, procedure development, BHAs etc to help facilitate an efficient execution of various well intervention activities. Liaise with clients, third party suppliers and Tango staff on maintenance, preparation, testing, and/or troubleshooting of equipment to ensure fit for purpose delivery. Provide onsite services operating equipment in line with Tango procedures and clients expectations. Monitor and report drilling and work-over rig activity regarding operations Recommend measures to improve methods, performance, and quality to increase efficiency Accurate and thorough completion of job reports in a timely basis C. Other duties as directed; may include but not limited too;
Supervise and ensure proper preparation and loadout of equipment in the Tango yard Ensure equipment is maintained and serviced properly between jobs May require "hands on" repair, maintenance, or troubleshooting of equipment Represent the organization in outside discussions and technical forums and client interactions. Performing after technical analysis: after action reviews, equipment of product reviews/comparison, pre-spud or other meetings Temporary stand in for Sales, Operations, or Field Management Special projects, as assigned Benefits and perks The exact compensation is commensurate with experience however the base package will include:
· Salary + Super + Vacation · Open to discussion of relocation allowance and housing for the right candidate. · Standard work week although occasional weekend work may be required Skills and experience The ideal candidate would have the experience as laid out below however we are open to training high potential individuals who have a demonstrated track record and are willing to learn.
Either local resident or willingness to relocate to Chinchilla QLD. We want our people to be part of the local community General knowledge and experience working in the Oil & Gas Industry. Downhole drilling tools, fishing tools, or other well intervention tools knowledge. Basic industry inductions and or safety trainings. Basic computer literacy in most MS Programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Commitment to detail When equipment leaves our yard we need to be proud and confident in its appearance and operation. Documentation is often requested and must be supplied. Good communication skills Team players. We work as a team and you will need to directly supervisor and work with other people. Pay: $84,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
