About the role
Northern NSW Local Health District is seeking Wellbeing and Health In-reach Nurse (WHIN) Coordinators CNS2. This role is responsible for facilitating identification of health, wellbeing and social needs and the coordination of appropriate early intervention, assessments, and referral to services for school aged children and young people attending designated primary and secondary schools. The WHIN Coordinator works in identified local schools and applies their specialist clinical nursing knowledge, experience and skill in providing complex nursing care for school aged children and young people in these schools. Providing leadership, utilising specialist skills, working with autonomy and independence in an interagency context. Coordinating access to services across multiple agencies, professions and groups.
