Welding Inspector

Job Description - Welding Inspector (258873) Welding Inspector - 258873 UGL has a short-term opportunity for a highly experienced Welding Inspector to join our site based team in Karratha on a 2/2 roster commencing April 2024. This role will entail 100% weld inspection and surveillance under a golden weld scenario being conducted in a valve pit for 10 hours a day.  Point of Hire will be Perth only. About the Role: Be familiar with safety, quality and construction or maintenance regulations, standards, procedures and requirements Ensure that the standard of workmanship is compliant with the specifications and that specified inspections and tests are conducted and records maintained to substantiate conformance Ensure that the quality requirements of the client are adhered to and that Company procedures are followed, and sign off on team's quality documentation Ensure correct material, machinery, equipment and personnel are available and suitable for completion of work About you Knowledge of Quality and Safety systems Knowledge of Maintenance Management methodologies, tools and techniques. Experience working in a contractor organization. Knowledge and application of maintenance performance measurement systems. Demonstrated Experience with Welding/pipe and mechanical fitting is essential Must have a Certificate 10 in Welding Supervision.
