Welding Foreman

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welding Foreman to join our team. As a Welding Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the production and quality of welding projects. You will lead a team of welders and ensure that all welding work is carried out in accordance with safety regulations and project specifications. This is a hands-on role, requiring strong technical skills as well as leadership abilities.
ResponsibilitiesManage and supervise a team of welders, providing guidance and support as neededEnsure that welding projects are completed on time and within budgetInspect and assess welding work for quality and conformance to specificationsDevelop and maintain welding schedules, assigning tasks to team membersTrain and mentor new welders, ensuring that they understand and follow safety proceduresTroubleshoot welding equipment and recommend repairs or replacements when necessaryCollaborate with project managers and clients to determine welding requirements and specificationsRequirementsMinimum of 2 years' experience in welding, with at least 2 years in a supervisory roleProficient in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick weldingIn-depth knowledge of welding codes and standardsStrong understanding of welding equipment and toolsExcellent leadership and communication skillsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbolsDetail-oriented, with a strong focus on quality and safetyValid welding certifications (e.g., AWS) are preferred, but not required
