Welders & Boilermakers (Trades & Services) We are currently seeking a Welding Coordinator to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success.
The successful candidate will have a trade background and training will be provided as required.
As a Welding Coordinator at Upton Engineering and Manufacturing, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all welding activities within the organisation.
You are to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and coordinating the production schedule ensuring a qualified welder is assigned to the job.
You will play a critical role in ensuring that welding operations are carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with industry standards and ISO3834 requirements.

Opportunities for professional development and growth within the company.Early finish on Friday afternoons.A collaborative and innovative work environment.Key Responsibilities: Responsible for planning, reviewing and coordinating welding activities from beginning to end, in accordance with ISO3834 requirements.Specify welding procedure to be used and welder's tasks on specific jobs.Collaborating with the Quality Officer to ensure products meet or exceed established quality standards.Inspect and check weld before, during and after welding to verify compliance to weld procedure.Maintain accurate records of welding procedures, material usage, project progress, and safety documentation.Coordinate related sub-contractor work and review reports to ensure standards were met.Prepare Manufacturer's Data Report.Prepare and maintain quality records.Arrange for qualification of weld procedure.Arrange for qualification of welding operator according to specific standard.Oversee supplementary requirements identified & met.Manage sub-contractor selection & performance for special processes.Ensure appropriate management of welding consumables.Qualifications: International Welding Specialist AU/IWS/00400.AS1796 Certificate 10.ISO14731 Competency Level – Specific level.Trade Qualification in Engineering.How to Apply: If you are a highly motivated individual who is eager to work in a dynamic and forward-thinking company, please submit your resume and cover letter to ******.
