We're looking for experienced individuals to join our team in Forrestdale.Experience Required:The successful applicants will have at least 2 years' experience working in a similar role.Duties by Role:Welder/Metal Fabricator:Fabricate from workshop drawingsAssist with all the fabrication and welding processes in accordance with project requirementsCut, shape, assemble and weld steel to construct and repair metal products and structuresStudy specifications and drawings to determine suitable material, method and sequence of operations, and machine settingsMaintain workshop toolsMechanical Engineering Technician / Fitter:Assisting the Engineers with preparing drawings and computer-generated plans for fitting workRead and work according to the drawing to determine the correct materials and machine componentsInspecting the finished work and maintenance of components and partsCost estimation as per the machine requirementsService and certification of knuckle boom cranesInstallation of cranes and associated hardware, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronicManage certification systems and compliance of crane activitiesDiesel Motor Mechanics and Motor Mechanics:Will be responsible for testing and repairing motor vehicles and diesel motors of heavy vehicles.
This includes diagnosing faults, replacing parts, reassembling parts, and performing scheduled maintenance services.Painter/Finisher:Liaise with workshop supervisor that all installation works are completed prior to paintingLiaise with workshop supervisor regarding painting requirements for each jobPrepare surfaces and paint in accordance with guidelines prepared by managementCheck job cards for special instructions and prepare and paint accordinglyKeep accurate time records using the App including start time, logging out at the correct finish time and ensuring time is recorded on the correct jobsKeep the paint materials in an orderly and safe mannerKeep the paint booths clean - daily sweep out, weekly wash out, and regular cleaning of lightsApplicants for the Painter/Finisher role must also hold a relevant trade certificate, as well as 2 years' experience.Auto Electrician and Mechanical Engineering Draftsperson:Auto Electricians will be responsible for maintaining and installing motor vehicle electrical components.
Mechanical Engineering Draftspersons will be responsible for working with Mechanical Engineers and other staff by preparing mechanical engineering plans and drawings.
