Arnel Fencing supplies almost every type of fencing available to areas throughout the region, from the Tablelands to the Cape and beyond, with its dedicated team offering advice and assistance throughout the process.
Arnel Fencing Warehouse are looking for a motivated Welder to join the team.
This role involves hands-on work, collaboration with workshop team and maintaining a well-organised and safe working environment.
We are seeking an individual with a strong work ethic, passion for the industry and ability to thrive in a dynamic setting.
RESPONSIBILITIES Read & interpret product drawings and welding specifications Welding of fencing & gate products specific to customer requirements Coordinating and managing workshop materials, tools and equipment Inspect and test welded surfaces and structures for quality & accuracy Maintain cleanliness and order in the workshop area Strict adherence to our critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment Consistently working towards efficiencies & improvements across the business ABOUT YOU Previous experience in welding (1st or 2nd class) Proficient in MIG welding techniques Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Strong attention to detail and able to produce high quality work Excellent hand-eye coordination Desirable - Forklift Licence Strength & fitness to undertake a frequent movement and lifting role Strong awareness of safety standard and alertness of moving parts and people Willingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy & pace REWARDS & BENEFITS Health & Wellbeing Initiatives | Traineeship & Apprentice Program | Career Development Opportunities | Paid Parental Leave | Employee Referral Incentive | Stratco Team Member Discount Card | Private Health Corporate Discount | Flu Vaccinations | Employee Assistance Program OUR CULTURE Stratco has established an environment that brings out the best in our people.
