Welder I Afternoon Shift

An exciting opportunity to work with Global leader in rail manufacturer in Dandenong.
Highly skilled and detail-oriented Welder to join their amazing team !Client DetailsALSTOM is an international leader in the rail industry, manufacturing a range of products from complete trains to sub-systems, maintenance services, system integration and much more.They also produce rail transportation including rail vehicles such as monorails, light rail vehicles, commuter/regional trains, high speed trains, and trams.
They are all about sustainability and ensuring they are up to date with new technology in the sector.DescriptionTo read and interpret engineering drawings.To follow welding procedure specification (WPS).To weld mild steel and stainless steel with MIG and TIG.Problem-solving ability and a keen eye for detail.ProfileRelevant qualification- must have Cert III in Fabrication or equivalent.Previous experience with MIG/TIG.Previous experience working with rail, rolling stock preferable.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Job OfferMonday to Friday - 40 hours per week (possible over time available as per project requirements).Work hours - 2 PM - 10:30 PM 6-month ongoing assignment with the view of permanency at the end for the right candidate.Great team environment.
