Your New Role We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented and customer service focused Weighbridge Operator to join our team at the Port Hedland site.
Your Responsibilities Will Include: Timely and professional customer service Accurately weighing incoming and outgoing scrap metal using the weighbridge scale.
Accurate record of weight measurements, customer information and other relevant data into our computer systems.
Completion of payments in accordance with customer trading terms Maintaining an organized office, including organization of files and records Providing administrative support to the Yard Manager Demonstrating a high focus on safety To Be Successful in This Opportunity, You Will Have: Proven customer service skills Excellent communication & numeracy skills, both written and verbal Strong computer skills, specifically data entry, speed and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Friendly telephone manner An organized approach, you will manage your time effectively Previous experience operating a weighbridge will be highly advantageous but is not essential Availability to work overtime during bulk vessel shipping periods Essential Criteria: Successfully pass a crimcheck Permanent Australian Work Rights In Return, We Offer: Benefits Join an environmentally conscious company recognised as the most sustainable corporation in 2024 on Corporate Knights' Global 100 index.
