Weighbridge Operator Location - Newman/WA Full-time/Permanent Holcim has been servicing the infrastructure, construction and mining industries for more than 110 years and employs over 3,000 staff across 300 sites. Part of the world's largest construction Materials Company, Holcim is a leading supplier of concrete, aggregates and precast products. The aggregates business operates over 70 quarry sites producing hard rock, sand and gravel materials essential for the construction industry. About the role: We are looking for a Weighbridge Operator at our Newman Quarry, located in Newman WA, to co-ordinate all deliveries and ex-plant sales safely and efficiently. This is a residential role which includes the operation of the weighbridge and associated administrative tasks in a professional and friendly manner. Holcim are offering an attractive remuneration package which includes a North West living allowance and will provide on the job training. Responsibilities Operate trade-certified weighbridge Maintain excellent customer relations Maintain a detailed daily job sheet Diligent monitoring of work in progress Daily truck scheduling & allocating Perform administrative tasks associated with day to day running of the quarry About you: Excellent customer service skills Willingness to work in a team Flexible and willing to work across all facets of quarry activities Strong written and verbal communication Intermediate Microsoft Office skills desirable Ability to work autonomously Commitment to the organisations safety, environmental and quality assurance policies Why join Holcim?
