The role As Gippsland Regional Organics' Weighbridge Compliance and Administration Officer, you will provide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders while overseeing site waste management administration, including sample collection and weighbridge operations. You'll ensure compliance with NHVR/Vicroads mass limits, maintain the compliance register, and verify that transporters adhere to EPA and site traffic management rules. Key tasks include monitoring weigh-ins, issuing tickets, handling customer inquiries and complaints, and ensuring all visitors and contractors complete site inductions before accessing the site. You'll also support the Business Coordinator with administrative invoicing and billing tasks.
What you'll bring Knowledge of weighbridge operations and traffic management practices is desirable but not essential. Proven experience in customer service and administration, including records management and business software proficiency. A collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively with others. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently. Well-developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels, both inside and outside the organisation.
