Your exciting opportunity to join our Distribution Centre at Lytton! In this role you will play a vital part in coaching and leading our Weigh Label Room team, whilst coordinating and executing various department functions. We are looking for inclusive leaders within our Distribution Division, based at Lytton.
This is an afternoon shift role – 2.10pm – 10.30pm, however flexibility would be required. Responsibilities include: Coach and develop the team to ensure they have the capability to meet the performance goals.Report on operations and general work planning.Establish, communicate and monitor safety standards and lead corrective action in areas of high risk.Execute the site's plan with ongoing measurement of performance, achievement of scheduled deadlines and allocating resources appropriately.Manual handling duties – lifting, pulling, pushing, bending and reaching.Identifying and escalating Food Safety & Quality issues, hazards and risks.Key requirements: Experience in a high volume manufacturing industry in a Team Leader position. Experience in food manufacturing and/or FMCG industry will be highly regarded.Proven communication and leadership skills to lead a team.Drive the continual improvement of both processes and people.A desire to build team capability through training and transfer of knowledge.Ability to respond calmly and methodically when faced with obstacles.Computer literate and comfortable using the MS suite.We're looking for people who are curious, caring, courageous and committed to join us; people who want to contribute their best work every single day and continue delivering deliciously good food that's… Always Good!
