About the role:
An exciting opportunity exists for a passionate Chef to join the team at Uniting AgeWell Strath-Haven, Bendigo.
The focus of this role is to provide high quality, nutritious meals and exceptional service to our residents to enhance their daily lives.
This includes:
Planning, ordering and preparing meals in a way that will enhance the resident's dining experience, in line with all specialised diets, including supplements and texture modified foods
Ensure a high level of compliance with all food safety guidelines and HACCP procedures
This is a Part Time role working Saturday and Sunday 630am-230pm.
About you:
This is the place for you if you have:
Hold a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).
Have experience in a Residential Aged Care kitchen environment (ordering, budgeting and rostering
Have worked with specialised diets, including supplements and texture modified foods
Fully conversant with HACCP and food safety legislation
Must be available to work every Saturday and Sunday 6.30am-2.30pm
Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions

A current Working With Children Check card / Vulnerable People card
