We have a growing venue-management agency 'Wedshed-Managed', where we exclusively look after the wedding management of some of NSW's most stunning regional properties (think wineries, private estates and high-end dwellings). Our focus is on creating unforgettable experiences for couples on their special day, and slotting into a venue's extended team to make their operations more seamless.
As we expand our venue portfolio, we are looking for a dedicated Wedding Venue Sales Executive to join our growing team.
About the Role As a Wedding Sales Executive, you'll be responsible for helping drive more wedding bookings at our partnered properties.
Some of the key aspects of the role include: Sales-flow: Nurturing couples through a sales flow process with a razor focus on increasing the funnel, following-up, handling objections and improving conversion.Scheduling: Booking site visits for couples at venues and coordinating regional sales reps.Proposals: Putting together wedding package proposals for couples in collaboration with our Venue Sales Director.Reporting and tracking: Actively working towards achieving monthly individual and team sales targets and KPIs.Building relationships with event suppliers: You'll be responsible for cultivating strong relationships with wedding suppliers and brokering deals.Wedding admin: Ensure the complete administration of booked weddings and events is taken care of.Travel and flexibility: While mostly WFH/Sydney/Central-Coast based, you must be comfortable traveling to various beautiful country venues across country NSW (within 3.5 hours of Sydney). A valid car license is essential.Weekend flexibility: You'll need to be available to very occasionally work a weekend day, as these are peak times for our weddings and viewings. We offer a flexi-day arrangement.Who You Are A natural salesperson: You're an extremely driven human who understands client needs and presents solutions that make them feel seen, heard and taken care of. You've got a track record of excelling in sales, meeting KPIs and client relations that you can talk to.Experience in similar role: Min two years previous experience in the sales/hospitality/wedding industry is highly valued. We can teach you about weddings - it's more about having the right attitude and persuasive skills.Hospitable by nature: "No"? You don't even know the word. You can read the room and (and bring everyone in the direction you want).Self-driven and highly motivated: You can work independently, manage your time effectively, and handle multiple projects seamlessly.Passionate about weddings: A genuine interest in the wedding industry and making couple's core memories come true is at the core of what we do.Rock solid communicator: Written and verbal. You can have delicate conversations with confidence and sensitivity and are always on the front-foot of communications.Organised: Enough said. You'll be responsible for developing processes, keeping records, invoicing and more.
