We're looking for a talented individual who can lead our web development efforts, manage a small team (1 on shore plus 2-3 offshore) and drive innovative solutions in the fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee the complete redevelopment of our eCommerce website, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.Manage and mentor an in-house developer and coordinate with a small offshore team to deliver new features and integrations (technologies used are Javascript and Node.js).Collaborate with cross-functional teams and the major vendor to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.Implement best practices in software development and agile methodologies to enhance team productivity.Monitor project progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to keep our platform competitive.Qualifications: Proven experience as a Web Development Manager, Dev Lead or similar role within a retail or fashion environment.Strong knowledge of eCommerce platforms, specifically Shopify and BigCommerce.Experience managing or leading small development teams, both in-house and offshore.Experience in at least one ground up website build, with a heavy preference on this being in the fashion/retail/luxury goods industries.Excellent project management skills with a focus on delivering results.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Passion for fashion and a keen eye for detail.Join us and be part of a transformative journey that will redefine the online shopping experience for our customers.
