About the Role: My client, a premier financial services firm, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Wealth Manager to join their dynamic team in Melbourne, Australia.
This role is pivotal in providing tailored financial advice and wealth management solutions to high-net-worth individuals and families.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in wealth management, exceptional client relationship skills, and a deep understanding of the financial markets.
Key Responsibilities: - Develop and manage a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, providing personalized financial strategies and investment advice.
- Conduct comprehensive financial planning, including investment management, retirement planning, estate planning, and tax optimization.
- Analyze clients' financial situations, risk tolerance, and investment goals to create tailored wealth management plans.
- Monitor and review clients' investment portfolios, making adjustments as necessary to ensure alignment with their financial objectives.
- Stay updated with market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes to provide informed advice to clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including investment analysts and financial planners, to deliver integrated financial solutions.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree or relevant certifications)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in wealth management or a related financial advisory role.
- Proven track record of managing and growing a portfolio of high-net-worth clients.
- Strong knowledge of financial products, investment strategies, and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships based on trust and integrity.
- Proficiency in financial planning software and tools.
- A transferable book of clients with over $5 million in Assets Under Management (AUM) is required.
