Through natural curiosity and thought-provoking behaviour, you will constantly bring interesting things from the outside world in, to keep the agency's work fresh and innovative. You'll be expected to collaborate with teams across the agency to ensure these strategies are brought to life in the most innovative, impactful way possible. The role is also responsible for driving the overall quality of product across the wider agency via training and coaching.Skills & ExperienceWillingness to collaborate and draw in experts when neededPositive, articulate and an outstanding creative problem solverAbility to tell a compelling story through data business context and human behaviourWillingness to be a hands on and a team playerHigh level of EQ which allows you to develop strong working relationships within the agency, with other agency partners, the media and senior clients.Professional, ambitious and keen to develop the agency profile through outstanding work.Strong, up to date, media landscape knowledge (confidently able to articulate macroeconomic and consumer trends and forecast challenges/opportunities for clients).Inspiring communicator with clear written and verbal communication skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the patience to examine detail and create solutions.Collaborative and astute - able to build trust and respect within a network.First class negotiation skillsResults Driven.Passionate about delivering business results for clients, with the ability to identify and clearly articulate what's working and why.What success looks like:In 3 months:Been exposed to client teams within WAVEMAKER and learn their key planning and campaign cycles.Understood the WAVEMAKER ANZ planning process and how this intersects with WAVEMAKER Momentum.Established collaborative relationships with all key stakeholders and internal reports.A strong understanding of and can clearly articulate the agency and group proposition.Started to deliver strategic responses to client briefs and begun building a rapport with clients.Got up to speed on all analytic projects in the works and started to define how and where you can lead and support the teams.In 6 months:Mastered the finer points of the WAVEMAKER planning process (through either a full WAVEMAKER Momentum study on a category and through day-to-day use) and provided guidance and training to the client teams on this process.Been introduced to the wider WAVEMAKER network and started to build your profile across the national strategy and analytics team in GroupM.Been involved from on at least one WAVEMAKER Momentum study.Become a trusted, first point of contact for key clients.Meaningfully contributed to strategy responses for new business pitches.In 12 months:Become an integral part of the WAVEMAKER new business team – a go-to person for pitch strategy work.Materially contributed to the overall WAVEMAKER planning process – improving how we approach and solve tough problems for clients.Materially contributed to a thought leadership piece that helps build WAVEMAKER's profile amongst clients and the industry.Become a trusted point of contact for strategic and analytics advice across all WAVEMAKER staff.About GroupM AustraliaGroupM Australia takes pride in being a group built on a set of core values that extend to every aspect of our operation.
