Our company is expanding, and we are looking for a WATERPROOFING TRADES PERSON WITH SHEET MEMBRANE APPLICATION EXPERIENCE to join the team. Are you looking to further your construction career? With over 30 years' experience in traditional and remedial building projects, we have a strong reputation for diagnosing and resolving complex building issues. We regularly work with Engineers, Architects, Strata Managers, and Property Owners to investigate and detect building defects and implement solutions in a cost-effective, competent manner all over Sydney.
We are seeking an experienced Tradesperson to assist our existing supervisory and production team to complete our projects to our well-established quality standards. Remedial building and waterproofing experience would definitely be an asset in conjunction with sheet membrane application. There is scope for progression within our company through experience and training.
Reporting to the Site Foreman and Project Manager, this role will see you being appreciated for your specialised skill set and interacting with like-minded crew whilst working across Sydney on a variety of sites and a cross-section of projects – private, commercial, multi-storey residential, schools, and government agencies.
This position will have responsibility for: Completing trade-based remedial building repairs Liaising closely with Site and Project Manager Completing tasks in line with project allowances Working with and directing other site staff where required Problem-solving technical issues Maintaining site diaries and general record keeping To be successful in this role you will have: Experience in the building industry Experience in the use and application of sheet membrane systems Understanding of the technical aspects of waterproofing products Your own tools Excellent attention to detail Must have OH&S White Card A Driver's Licence Own Vehicle required A proven ability to work unsupervised If you are highly organised and motivated with sheet membrane application experience and a willingness to learn new things and further your construction career, this job is for you.
