About the Opportunity Carey Mining is proud to offer Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people the chance to build a rewarding career in mining through our Get into Mining Traineeship Program.
We are seeking motivated candidates for a Trainee Water Cart Operator role at BHP's Area C mine site on a 2:1 FIFO roster (day shifts only), flying in and out of Perth.
This full-time, permanent role provides valuable hands-on experience, skills development, and pathways for long-term careers in the mining industry.
Upon successful completion of your traineeship, you'll have opportunities to grow your career and operate additional machinery across our sites.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking passionate individuals who:
Are motivated to learn and build a long-term career in mining.Hold a current Australian HR driver's licence.Are of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent (essential).
You'll need to complete a Pre-Employment Medical, including LabDAS testing, and provide a current National Police Clearance.
