The role of the Service Technician is to provide service & operational efficiency to our clients' water treatment plants, boilers, and cooling towers by maintaining water chemistry, monitoring equipment, and plant and machinery.
The package will include a company vehicle and water analysis equipment to enable you to perform your duties.
The role will require travel as required for service work.
Note: this role is not a FIFO/DIDO position.
Responsibilities Include: Meet the day-to-day requirements of our client's service contracts & execute all activities in accordance with the contract.Perform sampling and analysis of water samples from various plants and equipment (i.e., Boilers, Cooling Towers, and Reverse Osmosis) to optimise the operation of the associated plant.Perform installation and maintenance tasks to maintain the operational capabilities of plant and equipment.Comply with Aqualyng and client safety standards and requirements.Assist the SE QLD Operations Supervisor and other team members in delivering customer services.
Respond effectively & efficiently to all client requests & inquiries.Support technical procurement activities.Attend/participate in the formal training process.Maintain customer sites to a high standard of cleanliness and in line with OHS requirements.Liaise with on-site personnel on a public relations basis.Identify opportunities to expand new & existing business & engage your line manager.Provide all reports as requested by the management team in an accurate & timely manner.Represent the Company in a professional manner.Support the wider Australian business as required.Benefits and perks An attractive packageGrowth & development for the right candidateGood location & working environmentFriendly teamSKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualification (engineering, science)First Aid CertificateDriver's License C class.Experience: Industry experience in a similar role.Experience with Water Treatment Process and Chemical treatment will be advantageous.Skills: Ability to monitor and operate the water treatment plant, including troubleshooting and optimisation of any technical issues that arise.Laboratory sampling, testing, and interpretation of data to manage and optimise treatment processes.Mechanical aptitudeAbility to work unsupervised & with others in a safe and responsible mannerClear understanding of remote site and office-based health and safety policies and proceduresHighly organized & able to meet deadlinesWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office and cloud-based softwareTraining will be provided to the successful candidate to fill any knowledge gaps and bring the candidate up to speed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
