Job Description Summary
Responsible for effective management and operation of potable water Treatment Plants within the Coliban Water Region. Delivering operations and maintenance of the potable water Treatment Plants on a day-to-day basis to deliver reliable and compliant treated water to meet the Company's objectives.

Based in the vibrant city of Echuca (or surrounds), Victoria this role will suit someone with a great attitude and work ethic. Prior relevant experience in a similar industry or role is highly regarded. Parental, Cultural, Community Service, Study and Corporate Volunteering along with purchased leave available Free wellbeing support available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with our qualified assistance program to help manage all of life's complexities for you and your immediate family Free professional, financial, and legal support Inclusive and safety-first culture Variety of work across numerous exciting projects Key Responsibilities & Duties Operate water and/or wastewater treatment plants, providing drinking water for our community and treating wastewater for the benefit of our environment Ensure our equipment is maintained according to schedule and carry out a range of tests and analysis on our biochemical treatment processes Maintain site security and a safe workplace Utilise remote asset performance systems (e.g. SCADA) to keep our plants functioning effectively Assist with minor maintenance of pipes, pumps, valves, and other mechanical parts at the treatment plant site Respond to emergencies and alarms during incidents Maintain a safe workplace for yourself and others Commit to continuous improvement Work as part of a dedicated team to deliver great service and outcomes Participate in an On Call roster to address out-of-hours issues About You
If you haven't done already, we'd really want to help you complete a Certificate III Water Industry Treatment qualification. We'd be looking for people ready, willing, and able to work with us in developing your skill set and capabilities.
Qualifications – Essential Cert III or other recognised study and training in any relevant field - Essential A full Australian Drivers Licence – Essential Mechanical or Electrical Trade – Desirable Experience – Desirable Knowledge of how to run a treatment plant or the basics Familiarity with sewer collection and water distribution networks Understanding of regulations and regulators in water and wastewater treatment Experience with onsite lab testing for a range of laboratory tests Proficiency in using computers and Microsoft Office applications, as well as Asset Management software Experience using SCADA is preferred Personal Attributes Great communicator Ability to work with multi-functional teams Customer-centric focus Ability to work autonomously Energetic with a naturally positive mindset Resilience and a good sense of humour Why Work for Us?
